Best way to surprise niece with our upcoming Disney trip

Sounds like you’re driving there, correct?

Will she be in the front seat? As you get closer you could inquire he to if she can help by putting the speak to into the satnav.,And then spell Walt Disney World out one letter at a time.

Or if she’s in the help can you get a route map atlas? Ask her if she’s ever used one, question her to open it at page #.

Or just receive her to help look for the road signs for each exit you take until she begins to notice the destination.

No, we'll be flying; driving long distances does not sit well with my tummy, unfortunatelyI spoke to her mom, and she's adamant that we stay the course with keeping the surprise until the last minute (and I can't say that I disagree). Thus far, the plan is to tell her that we're going to visit some friends of mine (she knows we won't be spending the whole occasion in my city) in (insert somewhere near Orlando here; any suggestions?). My niece is an extremely "go with the flow" type of girl, so until she sees that Walt Disney World sign, she won't even think to put it together.

So you’ve booked a trip to Disney World and now it’s time to share the news with your family! Do you want to do a special surprise Disney World trip reveal so that you can capture their reactions?

This is quite common with Disney World trips and they often make for some of the best videos. Who doesn’t love watching someone scream with joy or cry happy tears when they realize their dream trip is about to become a reality?

Here are some of my favourite ideas I have seen when doing a surprise Disney World trip reveal:

Mickey Balloons

This one works best if you are revealing the trip as part of a gift. It involves wrapping up a large box filled with some balloons, and some added magic is if the balloons are Mickey themed. When your family opens up the Disney World surprise box, the balloons will come flying out and you can include a message in the box (or attached to the string of the balloons) that says “You’re Going to Disney World!”

Scavenger Hunt

This one involves a bit more planning and preparation, but the result is super fun. You create a bunch of clues to lead them on a scavenger hun

How to surprise teens with a WDW trip??

Looking for a creative and fun way to surprise my nephew (age 15) and niece (age 17) with a WDW trip over Thanksgiving...my mom and dad are paying their way and we aunts and uncles are paying for their airfare and their MVMCPtickets. The last time we brought them to the parks was in October 2002 so we have a lot of new "stuff" to experience with them-their mom and stepfather are not "Disney people" so parents won't be the pic and we are all very close and enjoy being with each other. This is a kinda-of "last" kid trip with them as they continue to grow...

We have been trying to be sneaky and "reminisce" about our WDW trips (2000, 2002) with them and although they have said that they can't wait to go again, they have expressed amazement that we made them "get up early" ("It's vacation!"), stick together (they were only 10 and 12 on last trip)...and were totally humiliated when we brought up the "matching shirts" that we wore everyday last trip.

So looking for a "teen-friendly" way to surprise them...I don't think they would be very interest

How to surprise someone with a trip to Disney?

Hello Everyone!

We are headed to Disney World in a month. My husband and myself have been planning this trip in secret. Shhhh... If you see my 2 daughters DON'T TELL THEM! After our last trip we asked our oldest daughter if she would want to know about the trip or be surprised. She said surprised. We asked her how much notice she thought she would want and she replied with "The day we leave". So, that is our plan!

Here is our plan as of now. We are booked at Wilderness Lodge from Friday, January 29th through Saturday, February 6th. We fly out around 5:00, so the girls will go to school but we will have to pull them a bit early. But I can't decide how best to reveal the surprise. We have talked about just picking them up and waiting to see how long it takes for them to "figure it out". But I think that will be less dramatic. We talked about telling them once we pick them up, but how? I do want that super excited sequel on video tape but I don't know how to do it. So, I need suggestions and would love to hear everyone's "big reveals" that they may have done. Can't wait to hear

Free Printable Disney Boarding Pass Tickets + Cut File

When we took our kids to Disney last fall, we wanted a fun way to “surprise” them with the announcement without going too far overboard. I know there are some people that wait until the morning they’re leaving to tell their kids (“surprise, we’re going to Disney! Right now!”), and as much fun as that would have been, I knew I wouldn’t be able to handle the stress of getting ready for a two week trip to Florida AND keeping it a secret from the kids. Plus, I wanted a little bit of time to prepare them…to rewatch all our favorite Disney movies, talk about the rides they wanted to go on and the characters they wanted to meet, ask what characters they wanted on the Disney shirts I was making them, etc. So, about a month before our trip, we surprised them with these free printable Disney boarding pass tickets!
