Link between worlds maiamai locations

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds contains a variety of collectible items, including Maiamais. These harmless creatures were somehow scattered throughout the game, and you’re free to go in search of them all. Before doing that, you must obtain bombs from Ravio and then use the explosives to puff up the entrance of a cave to the east of Link’s house, the one warning travelers of a dangerous creature.

As it turns out, Mother Maiamai is quite peaceful and worried about her kids. In fact, she gives Link the Maiamai Map that shows the location of all 100 lost Maiamais. Finding the buggers will be tricky. You’ll need to utilize Link’s merging ability to travel along walls and across chasms. That said, we’ll make it much easier tracking them down. On that note, here are the top ways to find the missing Maiamais.

    Lost Maiamais

Before you can begin finding Maiamais, you must meet Mother Maiamai in her cave southeast of Link’s house in Hyrule. Use a bomb to open the entrance to the cave.

There are 100 Maiamais lost across Hyrule and Lorule. Each time you collect 10, return to Mother Maiamai and she will upgrade an item that you own (items rented from Ravio cannot be upgraded – the items must be purchased first).

None of the upgrades are required to complete the game.

Mother Maiamai provides a map that shows how many Maiamais are lost in different areas of Hyrule and Lorule.

It is easier to find the lost Maiamais if you keep the game sound turned on. You cannot always see a Maiamai, but you can always hear them crying when you are nearby.

    Lake Hylia

    1. On the cliff directly outside Maiamai Cave. Use Merge to knock it off the wall.
    2. In the deep water directly south of  House of Gales; surrounded by a circle of shallow water. Dive under water to reach it.
    3. In the deep water, just east of the white bridge. Dive under water to reach it.
    4. In the river east of Lake Hylia. The Maiamai is west of the southern ramp that leads out of the water. Dive under water to reach it.
    5. There is a Maiam

      Main Walkthrough

Poor Mother Maiamai! Her babies have flown the coop, and she doesn't have the wherewithal (or energy, it seems) to look for them herself. Link will have to scour Hyrule and Lorule to find all one hundred Maiamai children and return them to their bereaved mama. This guide will help you locate all one hundred Maiamai, as well as provide details as to the prizes you receive for tracking them down.

The Maiamai map provided by the game separates both Hyrule and Lorule into distinct areas which you can search for Maiamai. I don't always abide by the distinctions on the map, as they're not always specific enough. Nevertheless, this guide will take you to all of the Maiamai.

      Hunting Maiamai

Want to find these critters on your own? Here are some tips to get you started.

      - First, Maiamai appear in Hyrule and Lorule alike.

      - Second, Maiamai are loosely tallied by location on your map if you hit the Maiamai toggle. This is very helpful for narrowing down your search areas.

      - Maiamai are hidden in many places, but they seem to like using similar tactics for remaining put. Many Maiamai hide under rocks, bushes, or skulls; others cling to walls, an

This guide will tell you the locations of all the lost maiamai children throughout Hyrule and Lorule.

If you don’t know what that is, there is a cave north of the House of Gales that you must blow open with a bomb. Mother Maiamai is inside and will ask you to find her lost children. She will put an icon on your map that will show each region and the number found in each one.

There are 100 total, 50 in each world. You can trade 10 in for upgrades to items in Ravio’s shop. You can only upgrade items you bought, not rented ones.

For all 100, you will get an upgraded spin attack with the Master Sword that has a wider range.
